Curiosity and Desire

Two words that excite and stir in us the possibility of more…

 … undiscovered pathways, new dimensions of connection, a depth of love that truly satisfies, like living water to the dry and thirsty soul, and a world so much bigger than the one we currently occupy! But also attached to these words is the possibility of leaving what we know behind, the fear of the unknown, the question of “will I be able to go back to where I feel safe?” Curiosity to go further. The decision is ours. 

Will we prepare ourselves for that journey of surrender and trust? Hunger and desire can be cultivated, curiosity can be fed, trust is only activated when we are forced to rely on another.

• Read Psalm 20:4

• Do you have a desire to leave the familiar behind in order to discover and experience the excitement of something new?

• Use this time to remind yourself of all God has done for you. Record a video, tell a friend, post on your story, write in your journal, then begin to imagine MORE. 

• Ask God to give you a desire for more, read the Bible and see yourself as one of the characters in the story, what would you have done differently? Developing a hunger for more and a curiosity to discover it will change the outcome of your future. 

• Take a step! Make a choice to move today! Choose to move from where you are now spiritually and embark on a life-changing journey.
